How we work

What it is actually like here

Written plainly, so you can tell whether it fits before you spend an evening on an application.

Hybrid, and genuinely flexible

Three days in our BKC studio, two wherever you work best. Core overlap hours from 11:00 to 17:00 IST, and nobody counts the rest.

A real learning budget

An annual budget per person for courses, books and conferences, plus four hours of protected learning time every sprint.

Small teams, large ownership

Teams of three to five own a product end to end. You will talk to clients, make architectural calls and see your work ship.

Health cover for your family

Medical insurance covering you, your partner, your children and your parents, plus an annual wellness allowance.

Code review as mentorship

Every change is reviewed by a senior engineer. Reviews here are how people grow, not where they get caught out.

Sustainable pace

We plan for a 40-hour week and we scope to protect it. Crunch is treated as a planning failure, because that is what it is.

Hiring process

Four steps, about two weeks

No unpaid take-home that eats your weekend, and no surprise rounds added halfway through.

    Application

    Email us your CV. We reply to every applicant within five working days, including a no.

  2. 02

    Intro call

    Thirty minutes with the hiring lead about your experience, and anything you want to ask us.

  3. 03

    Paid exercise

    A focused, paid, three-hour exercise, or a walkthrough of work you already own. Your choice.

  4. 04

    Team conversation

    Meet the people you would work with, then an offer with the number stated clearly.
