2. Why we use them
- to keep the site secure, including protecting forms against cross-site request forgery;
- to remember your theme choice and your cookie decision, so we stop asking;
- to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful — only with your consent; and
- to keep our site fast by avoiding repeated work, such as replaying the splash animation on every page.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell any data collected through them.
3. Categories we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (always active)
Required for the site to function. They do not track you and cannot be switched off without breaking core behaviour such as form submission. Under the DPDP Act and the GDPR these do not require consent.
3.2 Functional (always active)
Remember preferences you have actively set, such as light or dark mode. Stored only in your browser, never transmitted to us, and never used to identify you.
3.3 Analytics (consent required)
Help us understand which pages are read and where people give up, so we can improve them. Only set after you choose “Accept all”. Choosing “Necessary only” means none are set.
3.4 Advertising (not used on this website)
This website serves no advertising and sets no advertising cookies. Some of our mobile applications are ad-supported — see section 9.
5. Third-party cookies
Some pages embed content from other companies, which may set their own cookies:
- Google Maps — embedded on our Contact page to show our studio location. Google may set cookies when the map loads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics — only when you have accepted analytics cookies. We enable IP anonymisation and do not use it for advertising remarketing.
We have no control over third-party cookies. Please consult those providers' own policies.
6. Your consent
On your first visit a banner asks you to choose. Accept all allows analytics cookies in addition to the necessary ones; Necessary only allows nothing beyond what the site needs to function. No analytics cookie is set before you choose.
Your choice is stored for twelve months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, which brings the banner back on your next visit, or by writing to support@dreamcircle.in.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop our forms working.
To opt out of Google Analytics across every website, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is still no agreed standard for how websites should respond to a browser “Do Not Track” signal, so we do not respond to it. We do, however, honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: where your browser sends it, we treat it as a withdrawal of consent for analytics cookies.
9. Our mobile apps
Mobile applications do not use browser cookies. They use device storage and software development kits that may collect identifiers for analytics, crash reporting and — in ad-supported apps — advertising. What each app collects is described in our Privacy Policy and in the app's Google Play Data Safety section or Apple App Privacy label.
You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time, under Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android or Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we add, remove or change a cookie. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes to the analytics or advertising categories will bring the consent banner back so you can make a fresh choice.
