Delete your account and personal data

You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data held against it in any Dream Circle app, at any time, without giving a reason. This page explains exactly what happens and lets you submit the request.

How to request deletion

There are three routes. All three reach the same team and carry the same timelines.

    In the app (fastest)

    Open the app and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm when prompted. The account is closed immediately and the data queue starts straight away.

    Using the form on this page

    Complete the form opposite. We will email you to verify that you own the account before anything is deleted.

    By email

    Write to support@dreamcircle.in from the email address registered on the account, stating the app name and what you want deleted.

What is deleted, and what we must keep

Some records cannot be erased because Indian law requires us to retain them. Everything retained is minimised and access-restricted.

Deleted

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Profile details, avatar and preferences
  • Content you created, uploaded or saved
  • Device identifiers and push notification tokens
  • Usage and analytics events linked to your account
  • Support conversations that are not part of a dispute

Retained, and why

  • Invoices and transaction records Up to 8 years — Companies Act, 2013 and the Income-tax Act, 1961
  • Tax and GST records Up to 6 years — GST legislation
  • Security and access logs Up to 180 days — IT Act, 2000 and the CERT-In directions
  • Records under legal hold Until the dispute or investigation concludes
  • Fully anonymised statistics Indefinitely — these can no longer identify you

How long it takes

  • Within 48 hours

    We acknowledge your request and, if needed, email you to verify that you own the account.

  • Within 7 days

    Once verified, your account is deactivated and can no longer be signed into.

  • Within 30 days

    Personal data is permanently erased from our live systems, and we confirm completion in writing.

  • Within 90 days

    Encrypted backups containing your data expire on their normal rotation and are overwritten.

Deletion is permanent

Once your data is erased we cannot restore it, and purchases, credits or history tied to the account cannot be recovered. If you only want to stop using an app for a while, email us instead and we will deactivate the account without deleting it. Your other rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.
